Label EFE Company of French à abroad contributing to influence of the France

Label objective

The EFE label – French- owned businesses abroad – aims to recognize and promote companies created by French citizens abroad that contribute to France’s international influence. This charter defines the conditions for using the label by certified companies.

Companies eligible for the label must meet the eligibility criteria for the definition of an E.F.E. (Entreprise de Français à l’Etranger), i.e. they must be incorporated under local law, have no capital ties with a company headquartered in France, and be more than 50%-owned (or the maximum authorized in certain countries) by a French national.

E.F.E. will also have to have a activity which contributes locally directly or indirectly à the promotion from the brand France and at radiation from the France (artistic, cultural, economic, technological, scientific, attractiveness, etc.).
